Originally from San Jose, California. Niko learned sewing from their mother when they started cosplaying. From cosplay their interest in costuming and all things crafty grew into a career goal.

In 2020 they graduated Southern Oregon University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Costume Design and Construction. Niko has studied tailoring, corsetry, millinery, and couture sewing. 

​

Outside of theatre, Niko has continued to expand their skills by competing in cosplay competitions in the Masters category. Niko has used cosplay competitions as a way to expand their skills with resin, beading, embroidery, and felting. Currently they are learning how to batik dye, light rigging, and beading. 

​

Currently, Niko is working in Portland, Oregon as a contract stitcher for the Portland Opera, Portland Center Stage and the Oregon Ballet.
